It’s been a while since I’ve been able to finish a piece. Completing this feels like a new chapter has just opened for me. This painting is called “Kids At Play” or what my parents like to call “Deki Erey.” This painting combines my beautiful Habesha culture and my passion for creating wearable works of art. With a sprinkle of inspiration from Amine’s new album, 13 Months of Sunshine. This might just be the best piece I’ve ever painted. Being an artist is such a blessing♥️ #habesha #art #handpaintedclothing

💐💐Getting My Flowers While I’m Still Here Because I Refuse To Wait To Be Appreciated. Usually you hear “Give My Flowers While I’m Still Here” but I refuse to wait for people to appreciate me and my talents instead I’m going to get what I deserve. Painting has always been my passion but since I started sewing I haven’t had much time to paint in the past year, this collection will all be hand painted. With this collection I’m going to start getting my flowers. Don’t wait for people to realize your value 💐💐

Here’s a sneaker design I wish wasn’t so expensive and time consuming to paint. I originally drew this for gray dunks I already have but they look so much better on navy blue #customshoes
