The past month has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

I had the privilege of spending it with people who quickly became family through @seedsofpeace - International Camp. People from different countries, identities, narratives, and perspectives. We didn’t come because things are simple - we came because they’re not. We came to sit with complexity, to ask difficult questions, to listen, to disagree, to laugh, to dance, and to see one another as human beings beyond the conflicts we were born into.

In a world that often gives us countless reasons to feel pessimistic, watching Israeli, Palestinian, Jordanian, Egyptian, British, American, Indian, and Pakistani teenagers wrestle with what often feel like “adults’ problems” while still making room for friendship, ridiculous teenage drama, endless laughter, and celebrating life… reminded me that hope is not naive. It is something we choose to build together.

I leave this experience with friends for life, unforgettable memories, and a heart that feels much bigger than it did a month ago.

Deeply grateful for this opportunity, and especially for the incredible team that surrounded me, challenged me, supported me, and gave me the space to grow, dance, laugh, and truly be myself.

I just had to take a moment to pour out some appreciation for every single one of you. The past month has been a whirlwind of laughter, growth, and pure magic and that’s thanks to YOU.

To my Old friends:
Thank you for being my anchors. Whether we were leading activities, calming homesick campers, or inside jokes, and unwavering support made every challenge feel lighter. Our bond only grew deeper in the chaos, and I’m so grateful.

To my New friends:
You brought fresh energy, ideas, and so much heart to this team! From day one, you jumped in with kindness and courage whether teaching Sports, leading SOP songs, or turning a rainy day into a dance party. Watching you shine reminded me why this place feels like home.

To all of us together:
We built a village this summer. We celebrated tiny victories (like finally starting a fire 🔥), wiped tears (ours and the campers’), and created moments I’ll never forget. Thank you for the patience, the teamwork, and the way you loved these kids fiercely. You showed up sweaty, tired, and still smiling and made a real difference.

This camp isn’t just a place it’s the people. And you’ve reminded me how powerful we are when we lift each other up.
Thank you everyone
