I bet you didn’t know that in 2024, our family filmed a sizzle reel with producers for a possible renovation show and pitched it to television networks.

Still grateful for @kimmylesdesign and @annettemsilva for believing in us 🥹

The networks didn’t pick us up, but after watching the footage again, we still think they missed out. 😂 And we had so much fun filming this ♥️

We had renovations, family drama, strong opinions, plenty of laughter, and enough Puerto Ricans to keep the producers on their toes. 🇵🇷

Maybe the world just wasn’t ready for all of us Latinos on one television show. 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

Either way, the footage was too funny to stay hidden forever.

Be honest: Would you have tuned in to watch the Navarro family renovate houses and get on each other’s nerves? #hgtv #tvproduction #puertorican #latinosontv #magnolianetwork

Bendición—it translates to blessing: the impartation of spiritual favor and a beautiful expression of respect and honor.

Three months ago, we made the difficult decision to move Mami back to Puerto Rico. At the time, it wasn’t easy, but today I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we could have made given the circumstances.

She is thriving. She has an incredible team at @goldentimenursinhome that cares for her so well, and she is back on the land that shaped her—the land my family comes from, and the land I am proud to call my heritage.

Last week, six of her grandchildren traveled to visit her there—four of them experiencing Puerto Rico for the very first time. 🇵🇷🩵 we visited with her, we prayed over her- What a gift to see generations connected to their roots and to witness such a beautiful bendición come full circle.#dementia #familia #puertorico
