My parosmia (distorted smells/flavours) is still here, and it still sucks, BUT I'm gonna keep looking for the good bits and the things I can do. In no particular order, these are some things I've felt grateful for this year, in this niche area of my life:

- Decent success rate securing sweet food while out, inc @bombodoughnuts lime and coconut.
- When there's cherry jam as an option.
- I'm more comfortable wearing nose plugs visibly.
- @biscoff__uk is happily combined with pretty much any sugar-based product, e.g. @miammiambakes blondie, @sumodonuts
- I found things to try at a gathering (medium success).
- Turning up to a friend's house for cake, and being told "I made you a sandwich too. It's got things in that you like".
- Farm shops that stock @brecklandorchard plum & cherry or @owletfruitjuice, my fav is discovery.
- Being met by a loved one with caramel ice-cream, after a heatwave train with broken aircon and no opening windows.
- The thoughtfulness that accompanied a wedding invite.
- Being accepted onto a @uclh surgery trial, and their lovely staff. Totally bricking it but bring on the hope.

Ps @smelltastecharity (formerly Fifth Sense) have loads of information on lack of, loss of, and changes to smell and taste, if you are in need of information or support.

So apparently today is #norfolkday which was created by @eastern_daily_press and @bbceastofengland back in 2018. So it got me thinking.......norfolk is a treasure trove of amazing business owners and places to visit. But not enough people are seeing them or know about them.

So here are a few small businesses that I wanted to share to celebrate #norfolkday

Something special happened while I was in The Lakes 💍

I was honoured to be a part of my sister's proposal! How perfect can you get?! Mountain views, sheep grazing in the distance, cocooned in a magical garden. Not to mention two people so perfect for each other that the universe must have plucked one star out of the sky and made it into two vibrant humans ✨🌿

Phew.....May you were a busy one. Between the day job, being a Mum, client shoots, planning content, editing, photography and keeping a house running it was a busy one and flew by! But also a productive and positive month!

A couple of client shoots for the lovely @georgie_blackman

Another client shoot for @asnatureintendednorfolk

A visit to @revelpucks at the @hippodromegy for the @outtherearts_uk festival

A visit to the @discoverkingslynn Vintage and retro market. Photo of the lovely @miammiambakes

A visit to the @brewnorfolkandfriends makers market in Norwich at the @standrewshall

A @concertsbycandlelight concert with a stop off at @poco_lounge after for tapas.

Several buckets loads of coffee and of course a ton of building my skills, learning and manifesting my business growing.

June is set to be a busy month to with a visit to the creator event with @the.norfolkedit and a client shoot with a client as well as visiting other local events and throwing myself into building even more.

If you are looking for some help with your social media or just need some content capturing for an event or just some content of you working on your business. Then give me a shout! I only have a couple of spots left.
