Meet Miaous B. 📸🇫🇷

While in Paris, we explored Strasbourg–Saint-Denis, a bustling Black neighborhood where we got a glimpse into everyday life for young people and the working class, met local entrepreneurs, and, of course, supported the aunties. 🖤

Through Miaous’s lens, we saw more than beautiful images. We saw community, culture, resilience, and so many parallels to the Black American experience.

His photography captures the stories that often go unseen and reminds us that, even across borders, there are familiar threads connecting Black communities around the world.

Discover Miaous’s story at Brillianceinblack.org and follow @miaousb.

Strange how some destinies cross paths and change everything.
Despite endless possibilities, some paths are destined to meet and influence one another’s journey.

Étrange comme certains destins se croisent
malgré l’immensité des possibilités, certains chemins finissent par se rencontrer et influencer mutuellement leur parcours.
