In honor of the Eras tour, here are my personal tswift eras

Self titled: lil 7th grade closet-case playing “masculine” songs on repeat while I slept to make sure Tim McGraw and teardrops on my guitar weren’t the top played songs on my iPod classic

Fearless: feeling FEELINGS when fifteen came out. Fun fact my now husband and my first kiss was in the rain and I listened to fearless on the way home. “It’s a first kiss, it’s flawless really somethin…”

Red: freshman in college. Sad fall + all too well = need I say more??

1989: SYNTH POP FOREVER. I didn’t get tickets to the iconic tour bc I didn’t want people to know i was so, so, so gay. First dance at our wedding was to “you are in love”

Rep: living out in KC. I remember the first time I rebounded and fully understanding Getaway Car. living my best life w/ @skburkhart screaming “GO GO GO”

Lover: Cruel Summer was my top played song of 2019 and it was out less than half the year.

Folklore: worked in healthcare and the pandemic hit. sobbing when I heard “I’m doin good I’m on some new shit.” Again during mirrorball. August lyrics are tattooed on my arm.

Evermore: long story short, I survived nursing school. Champagne problems was top played of 2020. cried so hard hearing it live.

Midnights: maroon took me right back to my early 20s and figuring out life. WCS fuels my hate fire 🔥

Parasocial relationships are a helluva drug but I feel like I grew up with @taylorswift and I thank you for your ability to write a feeling and the catharsis that comes with hearing someone sing what I’m going through.
