This weekend we were at @goodmorningza . Sponsored by Savanna 0.0 ๐Ÿ‹, the tasty non-alcoholic cider, we had the pleasure of painting giant colouring-in-book-style canvases with the people at this amazing musical festival, @savannacider . This brunch time festival was full of amazing stars and an artistic audience who were ready to colour-in, draw pictures, and tag the canvases we laid out for them at Mushroom Farm Park in Sandton. We were fortunate enough to do the same thing at the Good Morning Festival in December 2024 at Constitutional Hill- (the last few images and videos). Thank you to Savanna for sponsoring this groovy festival and to all the people who made it happen- along with all the guests that contributed to these beautiful artworks. Both events were a day of great SA music, communal art, high fashion and great vibes. โœŒ๏ธ๐ŸŽŠ A lekker time was had by all. Designed by: @drfoodzartstudio & @hip_e_punk ๐ŸŽจ With artistic assistance from: @k3vseven , @mf_briz , and other local artists ๐ŸŽฅ Video shot and edited by: @miasmaproduction

๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿฆ’ ๐Ÿƒ This last winter we were lucky enough to paint the playground for Melpark Primary School earlier this year. We replaced their old damaged mural with this amazing new piece. We painted 26 lifesize animals ๐Ÿฆ ๐Ÿ˜ to help the Grade 0s learn their ABCs- while they are on the playground. painted by @drfoodzartstudio and @hip_e_punk with assistance and video by @miasmaproduction @melparkprimary

The process of me painting the new Zinzele Miriam Makeba- a.k.a. Mama Afrika- mural onto the wall at the Sophiatown Heritage and Cultural Centre. Thank you to all other artists in painting the rest of the wall! More to come! Painting this international icon back on the historic streets of Sophiatown has been a truly humbling honor that I fail to capture in the right words. This is a continuation of the wall I began last year with a portrait of Hugh Masekela. Please follow my new page @hip_epunk Special shoutout @drfooddzartstudio ,who has since added the legendary Maddie Hall Xuma to the wall. Thank you also to the Sophiatown Heritage and Cultural Centre for letting me be part of this beautiful and significant piece. Thanks to @austinrobinsin @mf_briz @_wat_in.the.graff_ for assistingg with the background and writing. Video fimed and edited by @miasmaproduction The Sophiatown Heritage and Cultural Centre's Dr. Xuma House Museum re-opens on the 21st of March 2024 with a beautiful exhibition on the esteemed and legendary South African journalist Henry Nxumalo, a.k.a. Mr. Drum. #sophiatownthemix #sophiatown #graffiti #muralart
