Successful first retreat of the year! 🎶 Soundsation had an amazing time at Camp Casey, working with the incredible @kiptaisey from Flagler College! We put in lots of hard work, made great memories, and prepared for the exciting year ahead. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on with you all soon!

3 years ago, i was a 21 year old with absolutely no confidence that i would achieve the things i wanted. after two quarters back at edmonds college following a LONG gap year, i was encouraged to audition for soundsation. i didn’t think i was good enough to get in, but i decided to do it anyways to push myself out of my comfort zone. not only did i not expect to get in, but never could have anticipated the way this group changed me.

now, at 24, i am headed off to pursue a dream i never thought was possible 3 years ago, and i have so many awesome, supportive, and incredibly talented friends to keep posted! i feel like i have grown into a totally different person since joining, and i wouldn’t be who i am without these people and experiences. i have found some of my favorite humans ever thanks to this group :,) ❤️ thank you to everyone who i’ve had the absolute pleasure of making music with these last 3 years, and thank you to kirk & jeff for being the amazing educators u are. i feel incredibly grateful to forever be tied to such an amazing community 🫶🏻🎶

(ps sorry if i didn’t tag u….since when the heck does this app limit the amount of tagging 😔)

I've met so many wonderful people who have become my closest friends thanks to Soundsation, I am so lucky to be surrounded by these sweet souls. Thank you to all my friends for making this year so wonderful. ❤️

The 50th DeMiero Jazz Festival is in the books!

It is such a privilege to make music with these amazing people, and to be a part of the beautiful celebration of Frank DeMiero's life. These are memories that will last beyond my years in school, and I cannot wait for the next one!
