From Keyodhoo to National Champion 🏆🏸
Today, V. Keyodhoo welcomed home its champion. Haisham returned to his home island as a national title winner at the 50th Maldives National Badminton Tournament, and the island gave him the welcome he truly deserves.
This title means a great deal to all of us at Revival Sports. Haisham is a full-time scholarship athlete with the club. The scholarship fully supports him as a full-time athlete, allowing him to dedicate himself entirely to the sport.
Haisham first joined us in 2019. Along the way he faced real setbacks, including being denied a place in the IOIG 2023 selection trials without any explanation. Instead of giving up, he came back stronger. He re-signed with Revival on full scholarship in August 2025, and in September 2026 he became a National Champion.
To the people of Keyodhoo, thank you for raising him and for standing behind him today. We’re proud to be part of his story, and this is only the start. 💪
