Huge shout out to @mic_laugh , not only for the fire choreo and joy from today’s class, but for all her work in bringing Party People come to life. She was one of the first people our founder talked to about building this collective and it’s thanks to her contribution that the mission is thriving. We couldn’t have done it without you Michelle 🧡

Seattle Water Front Block Party this Saturday! 🤠

This is my first time in probably 2 years dancing in my own piece bc it’s actually so hard to dance and direct 😭

Shoutout to the best dancers for bringing this all to life. Come watch their hard work in action 🙂‍↕️

Flyer in my story or on @fridaynighthiphop page!

We blocked and filmed this in one 3 hour rehearsal and these dancers did what there is to DO!!

This piece puts together so much of our training over the last 4 months to showcase House, Hip Hop, Campbellocking, Whaacking, and Top Rock - all fused together with party dances, freestyle and joy.

Our 3 Cs = Community, Celebration and Culture. And I think we did just that 🙂‍↕️

Throughout the season we continuously ask our community that we are serving how they feel, what they’re getting, where they’re struggling, and what they need.

We don’t want to navigate like a company, we want to work together as a collective, a community.

Yes we work to lead with excellence, but we also know that who we are serving is who makes us what we are.

Join us for season 2 and let’s build together with care, communication and joy.

It’s that time!! Season 2 Auditions are official OPEN!!

There is SO much info in our flyer, website, and google form, but here are some quick details:

1. There are now TWO different options to join. Please read through and figure out which feels right for you.

2. The audition is all virtual. You have one week to learn, practice, record, and submit.

3. Foundation Lab will have an associated journal, checklist and so many guest teachers!

4. Immersion Lab group will be SMALL - only about 15 people. This group will also have a journal with journal prompts to dive in deep, guest choreographers, and is a soulful emotional exploration that will leave you feeling more YOU than ever. This ends in an evening length theatre show in Dec.

Want more info?? Check out our links, email us or even comment here. We are excited to expand, share, and receive.

Saw this dance trend go viral and felt so inspired to name and do all the party dances in it! Super fun.

We honestly didn’t want to do a ton of cleaning or blocking - we learned this quickly and enjoyed jamming out.

Thank you @scott4syth / @brotherhoodcrew_ for the fun challenge!
