We had a special visitor this weekend in addition to Homecoming. Soccer coach gave the boys Sat/Sun off so @micah__bryson rolled in late Friday evening. We went to dinner last night to celebrate my dad’s birthday and so he could catch up with the grandparents! Also, @dustinbryson is a ginormous dork but I think we all already knew that!

From the last save to the first and the after game huddle. The Eagles took a hard loss but my boy did his job well and had a great personal night. Love still being able to watch @micah__bryson do what he does! @cmueaglesmsoc

First home game. 2nd half play. While they didn’t win; Micah still has a clean sheet! I can tell he is stronger and more confident and also a lot skinnier than he was when he left! 😳 I love watching him so much! #goalie #takeflight @cmueaglesmsoc

I’m not sure how we got here already. The older I get, the more I understand the saying, “the days are long but the years are short.” And I would add, the decades fly. It truly feels like yesterday this kind, loving, smart boy made me a mom. Today, he officially graduated Summa Cum Laude, the top 8% of his class and with just about every other honor possible. There was a moment during the recession where I put my arms around @dustinbryson and said, “we did that.” Because as much as @micah__bryson accomplished on his own, we were the ones that laid the foundation. Our character lessons and boundary settings and example were the start of his success. As parents, we can only hope and pray that we did enough to produce respectful and responsible humans. So while we celebrate Micah today; we also feel like we reached the threshold of our own accomplishment. I am proud of Micah and I am proud of us. The future is so bright for this kid and I can’t wait to have a front row seat and continue to be his greatest cheerleader! #SeniorSunday #graduate #classof2026 #out

There was no singing and very little talking, but I’m glad I was feeling well enough to be back at church with my fam. I love these kids and am thankful they and my big guy love me so well.

Welcome to CMU Men’s Soccer, Micah Bryson! 🔥⚽️

Micah joins us from St. Charles as an extremely athletic goalkeeper with great reactions, confidence in goal, and the ability to come up with big-time saves when it matters most. His shot-stopping ability, competitiveness, and work ethic make him a very exciting addition to the program.

Excited to have Micah join the CMU family and can’t wait to see his development here in Fayette! 🦅
