Micah Lattes is a Filipino Canadian mixed media illustrator who also happens to love drinking iced lattes. Using bright colours, messy strokes and silly characters, she draws inspiration from what she imagines her child-self would have been drawn to and takes that as a driving force in what she creates. Come meet her at Beltane Faire on Sunday, May 3rd, 12-6 PM at Market Square. #beltanefaire #ourhomestc #downtownstcatharines #shoplocal #coyotebonescollective

This week in my creative journal is all about the pink! This is prompt 4 in AYOJJ by @martinamartian. I've seen a lot of people doing this prompt this week so of course I had to join in because pink is my absolute fave 💕

I used some vintage ephemera that I've been prepping for my kits this week and mixed them with modern stickers, a cute little business card, and of course an adorable little beanie boo drawing from my daughter Madeleine, who is currently obsessed with Beanie Boos and in her collecting era! She loves helping me pick and create spreads each week for this project and made the drawing so I could include it 🥰
