thank you, valpo 💛🤎

as many of you know, i found out about some concerns with the accreditation status of valpo's public health program in april. given that, as of may, i've completed four years of college (shoutout mary baldwin!), i elected to switch into an individualized community and behavioral health major, which is expected to allow me to graduate in december after completing an asynchronous class this upcoming semester.

to say i am grateful for everything vu has brought me over the last three years would be the understatement of the century. without this place, i would not have my best friends, found my faith again and reconnected with God, met my phenomenal fraternity brothers, fell in love with research and been able to present my work on a national level, had the opportunity to work for a division one athletics department, gotten to study abroad, and just become the person i am today. to everybody in this post, and so, so many more, i will miss you all dearly and cannot thank you enough for all of your support and love in my time at this little town in the middle of nowhere, indiana.

what's next for me? once my internship at mizzou is over, i'm excited to move home and continue working in the sonflower adult learning program while also exploring opportunities to dive farther into the field of healthcare. i'll also be applying for fall 2026 entry to master's of public health programs with an emphasis in addictions.
