Congratulations to the cast of WOLFMAN, this October’s horror radio show!

Tickets are online NOW for our special 2 show event: enter the nostalgic world of the imagination as a story most unsettling is unveiled. Anchorage Community Theatre of the AIR brings the mystery to life through the nostalgic form or the old-time radio drama, using local voice actors and foley artists. You become part of the show as we record LIVE in the studio. Then, for an extra special treat, A legend of the Wolfman will be aired on KNBA 90.3 at 7pm Halloween night!

One Voice Conference 2026

Reunited at last with all my girls!!!

This was a conference for the books. I was on the Commercial All Stars Panel, moderated The Casting Panel, and then Kathryn and I taught "Finding You In Take Two" and "Inside the Commercial Casting Room".

The number of talent we met and got to know was fantastic.

And the One Voice Awards was the cherry on top with The Voicecaster winning Best Service Provider of the Year!

Until next year... (when I'll see you all in Los Angeles!)

TODAY I OFFICIALLY BECAME A PUBLISHED AUTHOR!!! 💗📚

MOVE FORWARD MESSY: The Confidence Shortcut for Your Bigger Life is OUT!

Twenty months ago, I started writing my first book.

And WOW…what a messy 20 months it’s been. 😂

That first year, I wasn’t just writing. I launched The Confidence Shortcut Podcast, taught two Courage Quest groups, performed Funny Bus Comedy Tours, rehearsed and performed improv and sketch as an Alley Cat, and joined NSA Georgia to step into professional speaking.

I was building an entirely new life while writing about how to build one.

Then I threw a BOOK LAUNCH PARTY before I actually finished the book. 😂

I was convinced I’d get it done.

I didn’t.

And I was embarrassed.

Eventually, I had to admit the book wasn’t ready. It needed A LOT more work.

So I went back to the page.

Writing has always been one of my least favorite things to do. Looking back, I wonder if it’s because I didn’t feel safe expressing myself honestly in words.

I wrote what I thought they wanted me to write.

This book wouldn’t let me do that.

It forced me to figure out what I wanted to say.

Through rewriting, teaching, speaking, performing, coaching, practicing, and eventually taking this message across the country on the 50-State MOVE FORWARD MESSY Courage Tour…

I found my voice.

There may be one name on the cover.

But there are SO MANY people behind this book.

Coaches. Friends. Family. Early readers. Courage Quest girlies. People who listened, gave notes, hosted events, prayed for this book, and helped me keep going.

And then there’s the very first page.

Before Chapter One, I wanted to honor the people nearest and dearest to me:

Coach Fred. My mom, Sue. My late father, Jon. My husband, Scott. And my kids, Kelsey, Breezy, and Jake.
And finally, YOU.

For anyone who has ever felt the ache of wanting more but not knowing where to begin.

This book is for you.

Ready never came.

Perfect never came.

But TODAY did. 💗

We’re honored for The Romcom Formula to be among so many incredible audio dramas as part of the 2026 Atlanta Fringe Audio Festival.

🤩 @atlfringefest is the only festival in the fringe circuit with a dedicated platform for audio artists. 🎧

Starting May 20, you can join us to listen to all 22 audio shows that are part of Atlanta Fringe Audio this year.

The tiki bar scene in Episode 9 was so fun to write because it was based on a real place I visited in Manhattan last year. @paradiselostnyc was such a fun experience! The cursed volcano beverage was fiction but the rest was pretty much real! 😆

This is a shout out to everyone who has ever started a new job at an ad agency and learned about how you had to log into 7 different portals called “bamboozle” or “workjib” and had to log your billable time in 15 minute increments to 10 different job numbers.

😘How do we make the kissing sounds in an audio drama when all the voice actors are recording separately in their own booths?

They kiss their arms! Just like you practiced kissing alone in your room when you were a kid. Oh, hush, everyone did it!

Here is a first take of one of the kissing scenes we recorded. Sometimes we’d record multiple options to get the right amount of sound without too much …erm…suction which made it sound silly. But also we didn’t want too much uh, moisture so the audience wouldn’t be grossed out. 😆
