Dancing into a rainy weekend✨

Ok well, today may be sunny but I couldn’t get that caption out of my head - cheesy or not, I liked it 😂 But in all seriousness, the rain didn’t get these two down. It poured buckets up until we arrived at the trailhead parking lot and then it stopped. I’d never experience Tumbledown so socked in but there was a touch of magic happening. What would be a totally crowded summit the rain had scared away and even the people who did pop up didn’t stick around long. Tumbledown has it’s own magic spell on us but that day it made sure Michaela + Corey could have it all to themselves✨

When your best friend wants to get married on top of a mountain you throw your dress in a bag, put on some hiking shoes, and make it happen. What an adventure we had yesterday. Love you @micajayne and @mountain_goat207 Can’t wait to see all the places you’ll go and things you’ll do together. 🍁

Yesterday as it downpoured on my way up to Weld I got a text from Corey that the rain was about to break. He’d been watching the summit report & radar and I completely trusted his judgement. At 7am, after literally raining buckets all night, the rain broke and we hit a pocket of amazing weather.

Did we get the view everyone hopes for? No. But we got this amazing haze that rolled in and made everything feel so much more magical and really intimate. It also kept the usual crowd that flocks to the pond of Tumbledown off the mountain for a private wedding ceremony✨

Congratulations Corey + Michaela! Thank you so much for having me come along and capture this adventure for you🙌🏻
