🍂 OCTOBER Houston Matcha & Pop-Up Schedule is here!

Fall is officially here 🍁🍵 and while Houston’s pop-up scene may be slowing down a little compared to our very busy summer, there are still plenty of reasons to get out and support local this month, including some newer faces joining the matcha community! 💚

🌱 @sayamatchahouse
One of the newest matcha pop-ups to join the HTX scene, this time representing The Woodlands! I haven’t made my way up there yet, so if you’re on that side of town, go show them some love and PLEASE report back. I need to know if it’s worth the drive 😂🍵

🍵 @kapeko.ht
I’ve been seeing Kapeko pop up around Houston for a while now, but somehow I still haven’t had the chance to catch them! They’ll have two pop-ups this month, though, so I’m taking that as my sign 😂 I’ll definitely be making it out to finally give them a try. Stay tuned for the review! 👀

🥐 @gerrysgrillhouston
And don’t forget to keep an eye on Gerry’s Grill for their weekend pop-up lineups! They’ve become such a fun spot for discovering local vendors, from matcha and coffee to salt bread from @saltywedge , cookies from @paulinaspantryhtx and @cornerstonecookies & dessert treats from @snackbarhtx @thecustardbox @doretartavasca and more. You never know who you might find there next. ✨🥐🍰🍪

As always, schedules can change, so check each vendor’s page for the latest dates, times & locations before heading out.

Save this post for your October weekends, share it with your besties so y’all can start planning those fall matcha runs ✨🍂👩🏽‍🐰‍👩🏻
Don’t forget to follow along for more Houston matcha, coffee, pop-ups & local finds. 🍵☕️🍂

And if I missed anyone this month, tag them below! I’m always looking for new vendors to add to the list! I’ll see y’all around town ✨🫶🏼

Stumbled on such a fun vendor while exploring the market at the Navigation Esplanade! We stopped by Mi Ca Phé to try out their Vietnamese coffee and matcha fusion drinks. Mario got the banana cajeta cafè and I grabbed the banana cajeta matcha. While the drinks were genuinely good enough for us to head back and try them again, we honestly couldn’t taste the cajeta in either of our cups. It was likely an honest mistake or maybe they ran out, so next time I will definitely watch them pour it in! Have you checked them out at the market yet?
