Farmers are the backbone so we try to help out where we can. We love them apples, cherries, peaches and so much more. Here is a small video of aerial frost control and what it looks like from the air. Yes it is very very dark and those bonfires are the best!

We did our best to help some apple farmers last night. A big shout out to the teams on the ground setting controlled fires and staff running around to make sure they stayed lit for hours and hours.

It’s been a busy December!
Started the month with Michigan Farm Bureau State Annual and Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable, and Farm Market Expo!

December is a month that I fill with educational conferences that allow for me to grow!

From attending the Great Lakes Fruit & Veggie Expo as a child to now as an adult working for GreenStone Farm Credit Services—it’s full circle. Forever grateful for the education, connections, and conversations that keep me learning and growing in this industry. 🍎

I was thrilled to have @applegirlkait out to Michigan again! She attended the @theglexpo with my family and I and was recognized on Tuesday night by @fruitgrowersnews as 40 Under 40! What a pleasure it was to watch her receive that award and make so many lasting connections here in Grand Rapids!

It was a pleasure to watch Logan Anderson on Tuesday as well receive the Michigan Apple Scholarship and become an advocate for our industry for the next year! Such a great sight to see such young individuals start their journey in the industry!

Overall December has been overwhelming to say the least! It’s been a busy month but I am forever grateful!

If you are a young farmer looking to get more involved, interested in agriculture, or wanting to advocate for agriculture and learn more about the industry I highly suggest becoming a Farm Bureau member in your state and county! Everyone is welcome! Friends of agriculture and those involved in the agriculture industry! If you are in the Midwest and want to attend the @theglexpo I highly suggest looking it up on their page and website and attending! It’s a great week of education and networking!

Thank you to all that organized and put on a great State Annual Meeting and Expo! Both weeks were flawlessly executed and very impactful!
