Just reminiscing how its been a year and more livin in New York City, about a year since this goofy live karaoke attempt of Johnny Cash’s “One Piece at a Time”

Around that time, yours truly appeared in a lineup at the Slipper Room in the East Village (@slipperroomny), organized and led by a different Jonny, last-name Connell (@jonnys_oddjobs), the frontman of a band called the Fightscuffs (@the_fightscuffs). Since that time, Parker Otto (@parker_otto) fricken produced and released a full-length feature film, Long Live the Fightscuffs, which features Michael Pezzuto (@michael.pezzuto) and I as the duo Sneaki Bandit.

The whole film is freely viewable on YouTube - if you’re curious, see link in my bio/story. Prepare for some earnest East Village underground live arts, as well as some phenomenally steamy burlesque♨️💃🏽.

!!Another show incoming!!

This one is a double bill with the brilliant and taltened Jerry @cannedhams Ramirez showing his new featurette 'Oingo Boingo Bingo Boy' alongside my feature film 'Kill the Painting'.

2 local underground Brooklyn films for the price of 1? Don't mind if I do.

7pm @brotherswashanddry - the space we recorded the KTP original soundtrack. It's going to be an awesome show. Don't miss it.

We loved welcoming everyone to the gallery for an evening of independent film, conversation, and community.

A special thank you to filmmaker Luke David Foster and star Michael Pezzuto for sharing their film with us, and to everyone who came out to experience it with us.

Boulder County, Colorado - that’s where this Sneaki Bandit thing started.

I’d like to take a moment to reintroduce myself here on this page. My name is Emmy Link, and I’m the fightin spirit behind the Sneaki Bandit project.

I brought it from Boulder to Brooklyn—from Gunbarrel to Greenwich Village—and now after two years away I’m, at last, on my way back home to visit and play a couple shows.

If you’re local, mark your calendar for 8/19 at Trident Booksellers & Cafe and 8/22 late-night house-show in Lyons. I’ll keep the updates flowin - more details to come.

thank you @themostmarco for the video and the gig
