Well, it was June 2015, when @michael_peterson and I left Daytona Beach Florida with no real destination. All we had in mind was to eventually make it to Portland Oregon. We knew we wanted to travel the country in search for an experience of a lifetime, and that is exactly what we got. From exploring through endless miles of woods and wildlife to national parks and monuments known around the world. In between exploring skatepark, street spots, and local food spreading the word of Feed The Fam, and the rest is history. Four months later, sometime in October 2015, we arrived back home to Florida. At the time, having months of footage and photos, we had no idea where to even start editing a video. Life happened, we continued to travel but in different directions and months of footage were lost. Computers crashed, cameras were stolen. Ten years later, well, I'm ready to share what I've put together. In my best attempts to share with you ten minutes of our journey. It's not perfect but that's art for me and I enjoy that aspect. Please enjoy our "wingin it road tour."

These photos were taken just weeks before I broke my neck. The boys and I would often load up our cars and go camp out in Cocoa Beach. We would often bring a fair amount of alcohol so from what I do remember it was a pretty good time. 😅

In the mornings the Ranger would come by and ask if we were camping… Of which you were not allowed to do & we would all just kind of play it off and be like “Naaah man” we’re just here completely set up at 7:30 in the morning…🤷🏻‍♂️😏

I owe my good friend @michael_peterson A huge thank you for being the documenting person in our group. I was always so present and not worried about documenting anything, which I now regret thoroughly. I wish I had taken more time to film myself surf, skate, play music, any of it really.

As hard as it may be to believe, paralysis has taught me a whole lot about life that I’m not really sure I would have learned without it. It’s giving me perspective and taught me how to be empathetic. I look at these photos and I mourn the loss of my former self, but that doesn’t mean I can’t greet each day with tenacity and ambition to make this new life better.
