We linked up with John @saltlifeofjohn to go over some tips for successfully doing your first solo kiteboarding session.
Once you’ve taken your lessons and your instructor says you’re ready to ride on your own, it’s important to have a checklist before heading out.
So that’s exactly what we put together.
In the full video, John breaks down the things you should be thinking about before your first unsupervised session, including weather, equipment, and location.

What makes the new CORE @corekitesusa Halo Pro 2 different? This year, CORE moved to a 3-strut platform while using a combination of materials throughout the leading edge and struts.
The result is a lighter, stiffer, more rigid wing with fewer seams and less stitching. Michael @michael_phaneuf from CORE explains how their new Polyfusion welded Aluula construction makes it possible.
Check out the full video in the link in bio and grab yours in the shop button below.

What do you think of the new Halo Pro 2 by Core? Is a 3 strut wing the answer to a more sturdy experience? Let us know in the comments below.

One kite. No compromises.

The all-new CORE @corekites NXS has officially landed, and YES, we have them IN STOCK right now!

If you’re the rider who refuses to choose between a twintip, surfboard, or foil, this is your new weapon. CORE took the best DNA from the Nexus, Pace, Section, and Xlite and fused it into one absolute powerhouse.

Expect massive boosting, buttery landings, epic drift in the waves, and total control when conditions get heavy.

Hit the shop link in bio to grab yours before they fly out the door!

‘The Art of Flight’ is an iconic snowboarding film that follows elite riders through insane, snow-covered landscapes. One of the most influential scenes showcases riders launch is ng massive backcountry kickers while bonking tree limbs mid-flight. Their body control and accuracy is mind blowing and it’s all I could think about while filming and editing this reel.
