🏃‍♂️ Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 🌳

What a day! The Royal Parks Half Marathon was an amazing event, with a fantastic course taking us through some of London’s most beautiful parks. The atmosphere and support along the way were incredible, making it a really special experience from start to finish.

Having not run a half marathon for a few years, getting back up to that distance was definitely a challenge! but crossing that finish line made it all worthwhile. 💪

The biggest motivation throughout was knowing we were running for The Samaritans and helping to support such an important cause. ❤️ Mental health matters, and knowing our efforts could help make a difference made every mile that little bit more meaningful.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, donated, cheered us on and helped make the day so special.

26.2? Not this time… 13.1 miles done! ✅🏅

Getting marathon-ready from home 🏃‍♀️

A little something new has arrived to help with my training for the London Marathon next year — the Merach T31B1 Foldable Treadmill with 18% Auto Incline.

I’m so excited to have this at home, especially with the winter months coming in. Let’s be honest… getting out for a run when it’s freezing, dark, windy and raining in London isn’t always the easiest motivation 😂🌧️

Having a treadmill at home means I can still get those miles in, whatever the weather. And with the 18% auto incline, I can also add some serious hill work into my training without having to find a hill every time!

I’ve just got it all set up and I’m looking forward to putting it through its paces over the coming months. It’s going to be a big part of my training as I build up towards London Marathon 2027 🏅

Here’s to the winter miles, the early mornings, the sweaty sessions and hopefully crossing that finish line next year! 🏃‍♀️💪
