A roundup of our final summer days (hopefully??) with the hottest and most humid summer we’ve ever experienced in SoCal😅Friends & family time & hopefully we’ll never see these temps again 😥

I love the transition to fall, how things grow slower and feel cozier. That things aren’t dying, but it’s time to be intentional and savor the cool days and warm foods. That our bodies are made for seasons and we see it in the earth. If you’re craving slower days with warmer foods- it’s the way you were created. We move out of cool foods, so much fruit and abundance and settle into warmer foods.

What are your favorite fall recipes?

Design that welcomes new memories, encourages longer conversations, and makes everyone feel at home. That’s always worth creating.

A study in blue: Cool, Classic, Modern with a little metallic

When it comes to blue flowers, there are only so many to choose from. These gorgeous blue hyacinth needed a moment with these modernist lamps - Perfect for an early spring, late winter table.💙

Coming out of my drafts from 2024 🙈 BUT I saw this and immediately thought wow… I want more of this in 2026.

More cabin weekends with friends, or short beach trips, or driving up for the weekend. I have so many friends that live in different states, so anything for the slow moments together, cooking meals, taking walks, reflecting together, encouraging one another, praying for each other. I have so much I’m looking forward to this year but it will be my goal to hold space for these kinds of weekends.
