I got a glimpse of Heaven in Monterrey, Mexico✝️🇲🇽

The Lord has been so evident this summer specifically through the people here. Back2Back Ministries has been such a special place for my walk with the Lord. This place has given me my best friends that I now consider my family. I am so beyond thankful for the mission guests, children, families, and staff that I was able to serve this summer. Back2Back Ministries truly brings Heaven down to Earth and I am thankful I got to be apart of that this June! Lord, THANK YOU!!!!!!!

there’s so much I could say about this month in Mexico, but where my words fall short, the headline of history stands true…

Speechless.

Speechless for how REAL our God is. I think that I could sit here and tell you that all your proof you need is in the Bible. But really, I have experienced the Lord in his true self this month. I learned how to struggle, how to serve, and how to love. This group of interns and mission guests have shaped me into someone I would have never expected. To think about that I am speechless. Speechless that I have been allowed to experience my great and sovereign God.

Grateful.

Grateful that Back2Back even exists. For me to be able to serve orphaned and vulnerable children and absolutely LOVE doing it. I am grateful for my interns. For the Linares Staff, and for everyone that makes México feel like my home.

Changed.

This month has completely changed who I am, and who I aspire to be. Thank you Jesus for such a beautiful transformation. Excited doesn't even capture the beauty of how much I am for the Lord to keep changing and to keep pushing me to my calling into mission work.

Gracias, Back2Back Ministries. Mi corazón rebosa de gratitud por el amor que me han demostrado. Volveré a México, así que prepárense para mi regreso. Nuestro Dios es grande y es real. ¡Alabado sea Cristo!

After four years of going to Mexico, i still can’t comprehend the greatness i have been so blessed to witness. God has shown me how pure and beautiful His creation is, and how He truly has the power to move and speak through it. I have learned to have a servant’s heart, to turn mourning into dancing, to have hope that He can fully restore, and how to listen for Him through the chaos of life.
Through these trips I have met people with immense grace, joy, and love. They have shown me what it is like to be fully invested in my relationship with God and how to have a child-like faith; one full of life and positivity, not of doubt or perfection.

Thank you to those who walked along side me these past four summers.
Thank you Jesus for making my faith my own and allowing me to have hope that it will continue to grow, one degree at a time.

Gratitude - the quality of being thankful and appreciative for the good in your life, which is to be thankful to God. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Gratitude is choosing to constantly recognize God’s goodness, even when life is difficult. It doesn’t mean being thankful FOR every circumstance, rather being thankful IN every circumstance. Every kid, adult, and staff we encountered on this trip was so true to this. This post is a reminder that: Every. Single. Breath. Is a reason to thank OUR Lord. Thank you Jesus for the gift of Gratitude. ❤️

Make me the image of your gospel I’ll be your hands and feet.

This is a prayer I constantly speak over myself daily.

As I leave mexico for the 3rd time the same burden is left on my heart - For the world to know the abundant LOVE of God and receive Him as their father, provider, protector, abba, Lord, and savior.

I saw the love of Jesus in the faces of joy that radiated through the children, the power of prayer and healing over burdens that now have no power or authority, the beauty of the creation reminding me that OUR GOD created that, the laughter and tears that were shared amongst those that said yes to this experience, the early mornings of labor and service, late nights of endless joy from the spirit filling the room and so so much more.
While it seems like I’m just speaking about a mountaintop experience I can reassure you

It goes so much deeper than that.

This is a straight testimony to all that the Lord has done in simply just a week.
We are called to testify of Jesus and His goodness.
whether that’s when we first gave our lives to him, a season where we learned to trust him, or simply just letting go of burden that has weighed on your heart.

Allowing Him to refine and transform my heart over the years has been more than a blessing - it has allowed me to access the fullness of the lord and the REALITY of his presence and power.

This is more than just a mission it’s a lifestyle.

It’s fully surrendering to God, allowing Him to take root, and transform you.
