Semester 8/8 but my college experience remains 1/1.

It took me a while to post this because honestly I wasn’t sure I could find the words, and frankly I’m still not sure I can. I’m not gonna sit here and say Mizzou was what I expected or frankly that I look back with only good memories, but man if it wasn’t the best era of my life, and honestly, it was capped off by the best last few months. I’m so thankful for these four years, I’m so thankful for everyone I’ve met and everything I’ve learned. And I am always going to be forever ecstatic that I got to be a tiger.

M-I-Z, forever and always 🐅

Also guys I ran out of tags again I’m sorry pls tell insta to increase the limit this is a problem

Some places become part of your story forever!

For Michaela, Silver Hawk Theatre was more than rehearsals and performances, it was a safe space, a support system, and a family during some of life’s hardest moments. And now, years later, she’s returned to help support the next generation of students walking through those same doors.

That’s the magic of theatre. The impact doesn’t end at graduation. It lives on in the friendships built, the confidence discovered, the community created, and the people who come back home to give that same love to others.

As we prepare to celebrate 25 years of Silver Hawk Theatre during our Silver Jubilee season, stories like Michaela’s remind us why this work matters so deeply.

Help us continue creating spaces where students feel seen, supported, and valued:

Giving is open now through May 28!

@nebraska.casa, you have my 💗

💛 Tonight was the annual CASABlanca Gala and I was welcomed with the widest arms to give the welcome address.

💛 Court Appointed Special Advocates are sometimes the only lifeline a child has in the welfare system; and many don’t even have that. This is why we need CASA volunteers NOW!

💛 Currently, they’re serving 55 counties and are approved to expand to 9 more… Nebraska, you know what you need to do.

🔊 Get ahold of a volunteer application and get to work, our kiddos need us. I’ll see you in CASA training!

Week 2 is IN THE BOOKS!

Y’all I can never not do some hair 🤣 I miss it 🥺 we had ESBs, burnt biscuits, pool parties snakes & vibes this week. Most importantly I saw God. Intentional conversations, intentional alone time studying. God is moving & I’m constantly learning more!

Lessons of the week
1. The voice of God produces peace ☺️
2. There is nothing new under the sun (read & study Ephesians) 🌦️
3. God answers prayers 🥹
