POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
“RUN AWAY WITH ME” has officially been released! The sequel to Rise of Asparagus Hero has arrived!

Psyched to finally share my most recent compositions with the world! This record is comprised of eight of my own originals spanning styles of blues, swing, waltz, Afro 6/8, Cha-Cha, Mozambique, rock, ballads, free-time, odd time, fast swing, and more fast swing! A lot has happened in the last year; I’ve felt joy, fear, frustration, and stress—but most of all, love. Please join me in the musical exploration of these feelings in listening. I feel I’ve grown a lot musically and personally since last year’s release. Also big shoutout to UCL Jazz Society for allowing me to premiere the title track at a guest concert in London this summer!

I’m super grateful to everyone involved in this project for their time and for bearing with me throwing at them some of the hardest music I’ve ever played, please show them some love!

I’m incredibly thankful to my family and friends whom have been and continue to be supportive in my journey. To my teachers, thank you for all of your wisdom, patience, and support. I would never have gotten as far, nor have taken care of the music without your guidance. My fellow graduates, you have all continued to push and inspire me, and I can’t wait to see how each and every one of y’all flourish in your careers. I love y’all, and thank you for everything.

Distance is the dictator of the hoops we(I) hop through while being blocked from liberation. Amidst ts(the storm) comrades are transferred between stories. Fourtunately, inspiration guides us towards unity, as we emerge as champs.
