Congratulations to the 2026 Ani Ramos Catching Academy class!

This year’s class has remained together since 7th grade and has finished with our highest record of 20 commits. 10 of these commits started as freshmen at the Varsity level of their high schools 💪

We are very proud and wish our graduates the best in their academic & athletic journeys and hope that the lessons learned at our Academy will serve as a foundation for their next chapters. ❤️💪

The core should be trained like any other muscle group—not just with endless crunches or med ball throws.

For rotational athletes, that means building strength through:

• Isometrics to hold position and resist unwanted movement
• Heavy, controlled rotational work with progressive overload
• High-speed rotational training to transfer strength to sport

Most of the year is already filled with competition and high-velocity skill work. Early in the offseason is the perfect opportunity to shift the focus, build qualities the sport doesn’t provide, and lay the foundation for a stronger, more resilient season
