***SWIPE: “Ah, but time seemed to halt when I was Miss Baltimore Crabs”… we closed “HAIRSPRAY” last weekend at the Cape Playhouse @capeplayhouse and I’m just now coming out of the beautiful Ultra-Clutch haze of it all! So very thankful for this experience… for the Queen of Mean, Velma Von Tussle, who pushed me past my comfort zone and forced me to find a way to fully embrace her… for my sensational Amber (Maya Musial) for making it effortless to be your Mom (and the best Rory to my Lorelai 💗)… to this wonderful company (cast/crew/Cape Playhouse staff) who across the board brought this production to the next level with their talent, kindness, & professionalism… and once again to our phenomenal creative team for the opportunity to strut about the stage as the vicious Velma. This show is still so relevant, and important, and still has something to teach and share. We love you Baltimore… until next time crabby Patty…my crown will be safe in the vault (iykyk)…🦀! ***SWIPE for “Hairspray” hoopla! #hairspraymusical #velmavontussle #missbaltimorecrabs #capeplayhouse

Had a beautiful Cape Cod summer night seeing Hairspray at the legendary @capeplayhouse with good friends. I have such fond memories of seeing this joyful musical at its invited dress rehearsal in August 2002 and falling for the score and that truly iconic original company. Twenty-four summers later, it’s wonderful to see the show still delighting audiences. Cheers to the talented full-throttle cast, spreading love and laughs on the Playhouse stage through August 8, and especially my friend @alexismichelleofficial who serves Baltimore hausfrau hilariously and warms up and glams up beautifully as the night goes on. 👏👏👏🌈🌈🌈❤️❤️❤️

***SWIPE: I am now ready to consume the title of Miss Baltimore Hairspray Crabs 🦀 ! We opened “Hairspray” @capeplayhouse over a week ago… and what a blast we are having on stage (and off!) every night 👑!! This cast/crew is just incredible, and I’m loving finding fun new moments to dive into as we settle into the run. 2 more weeks of clutching hairspray cans and donning my crabby Patty broach & tiara… come on shake & shimmy it with us now through August 8th (better hurry as tickets are literally vanishing!). ***SWIPE for “Hairspray” Opening Night celebrating! #hairspraymusical #velmavontussle #capeplayhouse #missbaltimorecrabs #missteenagehairspray @isaiahreynolds55 @ryan.nortxn @zethdixon @jalen_xavier_ @grace.beth.carroll @maddyyle @meaghanmaherx
