Back on road.

Kicked off my road racing this year with the flat and fast 5k @stride.athletics . A great event and good to run in such a similar paced field! Liked how it felt, 7 secs off a PB … which will be getting seen to soon. Next up Babcock 10k in a few weeks… let’s see what we can do!

Keemun! 🦅

Some of our Glasgow run club members represented Stride at the recent Allan Scally Road Relays in Glasgow Green.
Our men's team consisting of Rory Muir, Michael Cairns, Euan MacKinnon and Ross Noble finished 71st. Whilst our mixed team of Yvonne Mcnairn, Ewan Lachlan, Linda Szabo and Connor Reilly finished 142nd.

2024 be like: “Tha-tha-tha-th-th-that’s all folks!”

This year I plan to have another amazing year! Hopefully with less injury though 😂

A reflection of 2024:

Certainly a year to remember. Memories that will last a lifetime and looking at life from a different perspective.

🏃Doing a 50k in the Peak District

😂Posing in Gran Canaria

🏅Completing my first half marathon race

🌳Realising I had no fear of heights and I'm too tall 😂

👏Having our first SGPT in a bigger and better location.

🏃Running my first 50k, full continuous run.

🌞At the highest point in Gran Canaria watching the "Top 10 Sunsets in the last 30 years".

🤔Having a Fit for Life Trivia night with 80s gear.

⛺First Spartan Trifecta weekend.

🎄Aberdeen Christmas Markets.

🙌Some of our Monday Madness bunch from SGPT, I've certainly had some laughs this year with them.

🤿Snorkeling in a lagoon and now wanting to properly snorkel in the sea.

💪Spending more time doing exercises I enjoy.

2025 is a year of (for me)
1️⃣Doing
2️⃣Failing
3️⃣Learning
4️⃣Achieving

Thank you 2024, see you soon 2025
