ABOUT MICHAEL DRUCK —

Michael Druck, CSA, is a Texas-based Casting Director with nearly 15 years of experience casting award-winning narrative features, episodic and streaming television, national commercial campaigns, new media, and, most recently, vertical films. He focuses on bringing new faces to each project while building ensembles from lead roles through local and background casting.

In addition to speaking at the SXSW 2026 Round Table Casting Session, he has collaborated with acclaimed independent filmmakers and cast projects for major studios, networks, and streaming platforms, including Netflix, Hulu, VH1, A&E, TLC, Discovery Channel, Lifetime, Freeform, and ReelShort.

Based in Texas with staffing in Los Angeles, he casts throughout Texas and coast to coast and is a proud member of the Casting Society of America.

I had such a fun time filming this commercial for National University in Austin, and seeing the finished spot for the first time made me so happy!
