SOLD: Short Sale Win for My Buyers! 🏠

Patience pays off on this one. My clients scored an amazing deal on this home through a short sale—a process where a property is sold for less than what’s owed on the mortgage, with the lender’s approval. I am excited for them to make it their own and start a new chapter in such a beautiful neighborhood! Big s/o to @mfunk19 for assisting them with their loan!

How a Short Sale works:

1) Buyer submits an offer (lender must approve).
2) Lender reviews & negotiates (this can take time for approval).
3) Once approved, we move forward like a normal sale!
4) Closing day = keys in hand & instant equity!

Short sales require strategy & the right agent, but they can be a great opportunity for buyers if time is on your side. Ready to find your own deal? Let’s chat!

Yep, 14 days from offer accepted to closing 😮‍💨 SO happy for these first time home buyers.

This was only the SECOND offer we made on a house. If you know the Northern Virginia market, you know how competitive it is out here.

After some conversation with our buyers, we were able to quickly pivot and come up with a strategy to get our offer accepted on this second home- with the house still in Coming Soon status!! The listing agent agreed to present our offer to the sellers before it even hit the market. Yep, that meant a sight unseen offer!

Except, not really! Because the house we originally lost out on was the SAME house. How cool is that!?!

Thank you @mfunk19 for being the best lender and thank you @aastha.nayyar for the referral 🤍 reach out to her for all your San Jose/ Bay Area needs!
