Celebrated Madeline today with incredible friends 🩷 then went to see our beautiful girl in the NICU. It’s been a trying season, but we are constantly reminded of how blessed we are to have the amazing friends and family we do that show up everyday in all the little (and big) ways. We love you 🫶🏻

Madeline Rose Funk made her appearance at 11:59pm on 7/16/26 at 2lbs 10oz, at just 32 weeks gestation. She is such an incredible blessing and while we’ll be in the hospital for a while, we are so thankful she’s so far healthy and thriving. 🩷 God is looking out for our little girl. We love her so much.

Some songs aren’t written… they’re lived. 🎶 If this one hits home, send it to someone who needs to hear it. ❤️#nashville #countrymusic #unsigned #musicreels #viralreeĺs 🎥: @luckycowboy_nashville

“Love should be easy
As natural as breathing
Like a Sunday morning drive beside
The Carolina beaches.
I wish that I could say
I’m ready to settle down
Instead of all up in my feelings.
My mind just keeps on reeling,
Cuz love should be easy.” - Erica Sunshine Lee

2025… beautiful, challenging, amazing, transformative.

It’s crazy how life gives you little moments of everything you want. In the midst of the insanity and sleep deprivation and frustration, you get tiny glimmers of heaven which make all the rest worth it. You spend so long in survival mode that when you remember to look up at what’s around you every so often, you’re hit with how lucky you are.

There are things music-wise I wish I’d accomplished this year and didn’t. And that’s hard. But the memories I’m shaping and the life I’m molding for my son is priceless, and it’s time I will never get back. I will always write songs because it’s a part of who I am. I will always create and feel compelled to connect with people. I have solid goals for this coming year on that front. But I’m trusting the timeline God has for me.

We won’t always need to hustle this hard. We won’t always feel this tired. We won’t always be in this precarious place where nothing is certain. I’m looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel and loving those who walk the journey with us.

Can’t wait to see what 2026 holds! Happy New Year, everyone!
Ps- yes, 99% of my camera roll is Nolan. Gonna have some more music content this coming year! Lol.
