It is September…
“Recall that secret place. You’ve been there, you remember: That special place where once - Just once - in your crowded sunlit lifetime, you hid away in shadow from the tyranny of time. That spot beside the clover where someone’s hand held your hand and love was sweeter than the berries, or the honey, or the stinging taste of mint. It is September- before a rainfall- a perfect time to be in love.”
- Tom Jones (The Fantasticks)

On this National Dog Day, my dear friend @auntiecol (who was in the audience for the closing performance of LAKEFRONT on Sunday), sent me this picture of “Duane and Milo”. We never see Milo in the play (although we do HEAR him!), so I just had to share with everyone who may have been involved with or seen the play! It really cheered me up on a morning I really needed it! 💙🇨🇦🎭❤️‍🩹🤗🐾🫂😍

The cast, crew — and everyone at @theatreforty — is grateful for all the lovely audiences who’ve howled with laughter, and had their hearts touched by the critically hailed American Premiere! We hope you enjoyed the play as much as we loved presenting it to you!
