“Special contemporary portrait of the famous Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery restaurant in Glasgow filled with quirky and surreal details such as a penguin overlooking the west end, fishing boats, a fish in a balloon (ask the boss about that story), flying fish, and elements representing the Glasgow Coat of Arms.

Originally commissioned by owner Ryan James several years ago, and still hanging proudly in the main area of the restaurant, framed in a beautiful italian wood frame.”

You can purchase the print over on Michael’s website 💻

My work will be exhibited at Zari Gallery in London @zarigallerylondon, alongside other international artists selected for this year’s edition.

It’s a real honor to have my photography shown in such an inspiring space and to share my artistic vision with a new audience.

Grateful to the gallery and the jury for this recognition 🙏

The Power of Art!

Art has the power to change the way we see the world, awakening us to new perspectives, ideas and values.

Here is a snapshot of Ekho schemes where we have thoughtfully introduced and carefully woven pieces of art into the interiors. We love to collaborate with a range of artists, dealers and suppliers, always striving for that special symbiotic relationship.

I have few wee bits n bobs now in @plantiqueglasgow on Dumbarton road, including the drawer unit, the plaster cast head and some flue cowl planters. The shop itself is brilliant. Lots of lovely plants and some fantastic artwork from a wide variety of local artists including my bro @michaelmurrayart
