The Story and Meaning Behind No Empty Seats 💜

Since 2021 the NES community has truly blossomed, but one core principle stays true: we simply want to make others feel better about themselves.

On a personal level, nothing has been more gratifying than pouring my personality into this cause. NES is inextricably me and the rawest reflection of who I am. I’ll spend my entire life trying to make others laugh while effecting meaningful, tangible impact.

Tomorrow night, we’re bringing the Providence community together for the Thank You PVD Benefit Concert at The Strand Ballroom.

This night is about gratitude. After December 13, so many people across the city showed support in ways big and small. This event is our way of saying thank you and bringing everyone together through music.

A lot of people stepped up to make this possible, including The Strand Ballroom & Theatre for donating the venue, along with support from Mayor Brett Smiley, Councilman John Goncalves, What’s Going On in Rhode Island, J&R Marketing, and many volunteers who helped bring this together.

All proceeds support the Brown Loves PVD campaign, with donations matched up to $30,000 to help maximize the impact for the Providence community.

Doors open at 7 PM, music starts at 8 PM, and the event is open to all ages.

Sit in Your Thoughts - Ep18

Out on Apple, Spotify, and YouTube!

In this episode, we talk about the importance of sitting with your thoughts. It isn’t something that necessarily comes naturally, and often proves challenging when put in the context of our extremely busy and stressful lives.

For us, being able to sit alone with your thoughts—whether it be journaling or going for walks—is something essential that should be
practiced. The only way to make something easier is to keep it at, despite the challenges it presents. And maybe it isn’t meant to be easy. By reflecting on one’s experiences—both good and bad—we can better understand ourselves while also giving ourselves much needed rest.

Thank you for listening, and have a great Thanksgiving!

Happy Last Day of Suicide Prevention Month!

“As men, let’s lead with integrity authenticity and honesty, and let’s MEAN the things we say.” It’s time for a change with how we view mental health. Let’s be there for our friends, family, and even ourselves when we know we need it. Let’s check in on someone we care about, and lead by example to make the world a better place.

Someone’s doing better because of you 💜
