Being a lighthouse of love also means I will be loud for victims. I will keep telling more of my stories, even when it’s embarrassing or hard to do. I will keep standing up for the LGBTQ+ community, for black women, for women’s bodily autonomy, for access to food and healthcare assistance, for immigrants, for survivors, and for any child who has ever been abused. That’s how I show love.

This post is dedicated to @michaelpassons @tyherndonofficial and @melissagreene . Michael’s story and the way he reclaimed love and headed through what hurt him makes me so beyond inspired. I don’t think I’ve ever cried for joy ever from watching a stranger’s video online. Thank you for welcoming this song, and helping heal SO SO many people in doing so.
