POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

WWho knew a funeral could be so much fun?

We're excited to share “Wake Up,” the first of three spots we produced and delivered for the Connecticut Department of Public Health's “It's Tox-Ick” anti-vaping campaign.

A little horror, a lot of dark humor, and a serious message delivered in a not-so-serious way.

Big thanks to our partners at Decker, co-directors Michael Fagan and Dom DeLoya, and the incredible cast and crew who brought this one to life (literally).

One year. One wild ride. 🎬

We put together a quick recap of everything (at least what we’re allowed to show) that’s happened since we opened the doors at MAYA VP Studios. The builds, the shoots, the people who made it all worth it.

From our 4,000 sq ft LED volume and creative space in West Charlotte to the mobile LED virtual production solution we took on the road (Alabama, Tampa, New England — thank you @4thfloorcreative), this year has been proof of what happens when you bet on something before it’s finished. Every project on this reel is a client who was willing to take a chance on us, the most talented production crews who believed in our vision and shared their craft with us and the stories we got to help tell in a whole new way.

@dustoftheground for bringing the ambitious @sclottery job and being the first to film at our studio. Your crew killed it! Thank you!

@koreymac for bringing MJ and forced us to buy a ramp! Haha. Thank you.

Everyone’s that’s been a part of our story. I couldn’t tag every single one of you but THANK YOU!

Much love to my brother, @jacob_mccall with @easteditorial for putting this reel so masterfully.

🎙New Podcast Episode #51 with @michaelryan900:

Most freelance filmmakers spend years refining their craft.

Far fewer spend the same amount of time learning how to consistently find work.

In our latest conversation, commercial director Michael Ryan Fagan @michaelryan900 shares what it actually took to move beyond the feast-or-famine cycle of freelancing, not through hacks or overnight success, but through years of intentional relationship-building, clearer positioning, and practical systems.

Together, we explore:

• Why getting work is often a bigger part of the job than doing the work
• How trying to appeal to everyone can actually make you easier to overlook
• The mindset shifts that helped Michael build a more sustainable freelance career
• Why relationships continue to matter more than shortcuts

One moment that stuck with us:

**"I spend 80% of my time trying to get jobs, and 20% of my time doing the jobs."**

If you've ever wondered where your next project is coming from, or felt exhausted by the uncertainty that freelancing can bring, we hope this conversation offers both practical perspective and encouragement.

Thank you @wehmannagency ✨ *and* @michaelryan900 for finding this gem! 🥹 You don’t always get to see your work out in the wild, and when that happens - it’s nice to know people!
This was a fun one and I’m happy I finally got to see it! Lol.
