BREAKING: After today’s doubleheader, players and the Co Commissioner of the SSL (@theryankindler ) are calling @ejaccettura for a piss test for PEDs after his random 4HR performance.
Also, 3 players will be getting fined due to bad behavior and representing qualities that SSL does not support. (via JAV)

BREAKING: Due to yet ANOTHER injury of star player Ryan Freeman, the SSLPA is starting to speak up letting the world know of their displeasures of how the SSL has been treating player health. Games have been cancelled today due to it, hopefully this problem can be solved so these men can continue to play the game they love.
Coach Mike Torre is again in another controversy as protestors, both fans and players, have been protesting outside of his house due to his lack of empathy and inability to pick sides in this arising issue. It is rumored Coach Mike is the deciding factor for this strike, so whatever side he chooses will win.
Lastly, the SSLUA as gone on strike too, due to lack of games and lack of pay for umpire KAV Hernandez. He calls for discrimination, but league spokesperson Aaron Wilhelm (@aaronwilhelm_ ) says it’s due to his inability to control games. We’ll keep you guys updated (via JAV).

We are even more sorry to announce, per request of @michaels7589 , that Coach Mike Torre and player Michael Judge Jr will be put on the 10 day IL due to a knee hyperextension. “My knee hurts” - Mike Torre earlier today. This injury is assumed to be caused from running the bases and not properly stretching yesterday. (via JAV)

‼️COACH MIKE APPRECIATION POST‼️ After receiving a ton of heat the last few weeks for failing to show up for the first 7 Tennis Baseball Games, he finally made his in-person debut for today’s doubleheader. Coach Mike silenced his haters for today by showing up: likely in response to today’s mass protest outside his house earlier, but his attendance will need to increase before the seasons end for SSL fans to be happy. #respectforcoachmike

Not only has Coach Mike Torre not made it to a game yet, but he went to bed in the middle of the first extra inning game in SSL history. Players are calling for him to be replaced, reporters want him fined, fans want him out! If Coach Mike Torre doesn’t fix up his act, his future in this league might be short. (via JAV)

Ladies and gentlemen, tennis baseball season is here. Throughout the summer, these guys (and more) will compete in a new form of baseball using only a tennis ball, a metal bat and their bare hands— no gloves. The 6 players posted have already played a spring training game, and more players who play will earn their cards and ratings as the summer goes on. Season starts this weekend and highlights/videos will be posted. Here’s to a successful and competitive tennis baseball season 🍻 #SSL
