September was full of cheering, supporting and still showing up whilst being injured. Being injured for this long hasn’t been easy, couple of weeks last month, the injury really got to my head, I completely closed myself off, didn’t want to go anywhere, didn’t want to see anyone and honestly felt really down but sometimes you need people around you to remind you who you are. Big love to @gvans, @rikkirunz & @harriiyoudat and the @826active community for getting me to come support the track sessions and cheerzones again ❤️🙏🏾 You might not realise how much that meant to me, but it genuinely helped me get out of that headspace and once I started showing up again, I realised something… just because I can’t run right now doesn’t mean I can’t still be part of the community. 🫶🏾 I’ve been enjoying seeing the other side of things whilst injured cheering, supporting, motivating and watching everyone else put in the work it’s given me a different perspective and made me appreciate this whole running community even more. AND THEN… seeing my NEW team slap up my OLD team 15-0. 😭😭😭 That was the icing on the cake best hate-watch EVER Nothing else to say. 🤐😂😏🏆🏆 Jokes aside, I genuinely appreciate EVERYONE who has checked on me, supported me, encouraged me, messaged me, dragged me outside when I didn’t want to go and reminded me that this is only a chapter not the end. The last two months have taught me a lot I don’t know exactly when I’ll be back… but when I am, you already know what time it is. 🏃🏾‍♂️💨 Time for October ‼️ JARDON SOON RUNS AGAIN. 🔜
