Proof I hang out with people who make everything look cinematic — even my bad angles (allegedly). 😌🎥 Love you @jonjoffin and @michaelwale, two of the best DPs in the game!!

More from Yellowjackets…

First off, mad respect to @simonekessell as Lottie, in this Season 3 Scene. She had to hold this pose for quite the extended period on a very hard, uncomfortable floor in the damp and gloomy dungeons of Riverview Asylum - it was definitely anything but comfortable.

My task was to take the crime scene photos in between setups, so I needed to bring my own lighting to that effect, but I wanted to keep it in context of the setting and the amazing lightwork by DP @michaelwale.

I made full use of my Harlowe MiniX and its spotlight capabilities, handheld and manipulated to my direction by art director Justin Neenan while we worked, at times with me standing right over top of our corpse Simone.

What was to be a simple shot turned into an extensive list needed to be aired during the show, and with time short, director @jennifermorrison jumped in as we worked through my checklist to get the job done and allow the ever-patient, cramped (and shivering) Simone to get up and on her way again!

Much planning happens to set the staircase scene in style and safety, with key discussions going on with my good friends Rob O’Hara, Vincent Phillips, @ryanpurcell12 , Michael and Jennifer, while I stood by for my turn to take charge of the set.

More to come …

I binged the first season of "Peacemaker" over the past several days. I wish I had watched it a lot sooner because I loved it! Peacemaker is an absolute blast of inventive bloody action sequences injected with a hysterical irreverent wit and eccentric loveable characters that have depth to them.

The season is so masterfully written by James Gunn embracing its quirks while telling a generally heartfelt story with an imaginative sci-fi flair. It's a story of belonging, family, redemption, morality, and everything in between.

John Cena leads a phenomenal ensemble cast that includes Jennifer Holland, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, Chukwudi Iwuji, Robert Patrick, Annie Chang, Lochlyn Munro, and Nhut Le.They all have such brilliant dysfunctional chemistry as well.

Everything is so well done down to the direction, cinematography, score, the hair metal soundtrack, editing, production design, costume design, art direction, and set decoration. Season one of Peacemaker was a fun, hilarious, and absolutely wild thrill ride that I would highly recommend.
