week four of my sabbatical focuses on intuition 🌀

if you know me even a little bit, you’ll know that i love to keep myself busy. this sabbatical has been stacked with personal projects, checking things off my (ever growing) list, home updates, new workouts, etc, and i was surprised to feel low-energy and even sickly on wednesday. i thought i was supposed to be balancing my nervous system!

when i first announced this break from work, everyone asked me what i was going to do. and i had a laundry list of ideas. most of them are fueled by a true desire for my purpose. some of them are things i have been needing to get done because i don’t have time when i work a 9 to 5. a few of them are motivated by guilt and a lack mindset.

i’m learning how to be okay with spending the day doing nothing. i hate getting sick, i’m constantly checking my phone, and i’m surrounded by distractions. i know i’m great at filling my time. now it’s time to unlearn all of that 🤭

So grateful for everyone visiting us here in Santa Barbara over the weekend ✨ Every class feels like a gift — I get to share my passion for Pilates, create new flows for you, and watch you grow stronger and more confident.

This class we used a small band to challenge shoulders and back at the same time — a functional and mindful way to move, connect, and progress. 💪

I love walking around the room, seeing each of you, offering a cue or a correction that might make your Pilates practice (and your day!) feel just a little bit better. Thank you for letting me do what I love more and more every day. 💛

The past month has been the most wild and crazy and beautiful chapter. Thank you to everyone who has believed in this vision so far and every single person who has said “OMG Weight Training AND Pilates that’s the dream”🥹 or my fave “I fear I’m obsessed”- @calicrockett

Words can’t express the feeling of having other people see and support this dream.

From the very first community class, to our soft launch opening, to our epic launch party, to the incredible @renewredlight Night! It’s been an incredible experience.

SESH is gonna take over the world, just wait 😈

Not in group pic but part of the OG team @desiree_alvarez 🤍🤍🤍
