Providing window covering solutions and soft furnishings to the interior design trade @michele_fugazy

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

For this busy couple, we wanted to create a primary bedroom that felt like a true sanctuary—a place to unwind, recharge, and escape the demands of everyday life. 🤍

We transformed the space with a soothing palette of soft blues, warm neutrals, and layers of inviting textures. Delicate botanical wallpaper adds a touch of elegance, while an upholstered bed and cozy bedding create a calming atmosphere. Custom Roman shades, updated furnishings, and a comfortable reading chair complete this serene retreat.

The result? A light, airy, and timeless space that feels as restful as it is beautiful. 💙

There’s nothing better than seeing a project through from bare studs to a finished home.

By the time we step on site, every trade has left their mark. As the final trade, there’s no room for mistakes. Every measurement, every bracket, every pleat, and every motor has to be right. The window treatments aren’t just another detail—they’re what bring the entire design together.

This is what craftsmanship looks like. It’s not one person doing it all. It’s a team of professionals who take pride in their work and refuse to cut corners. When everyone brings their best, the result speaks for itself.

Another project finished. Another designer’s vision brought to life. Another family walking into a house that finally feels like home.

A full gut renovation by @jenniferbeekhunter completely transformed this #LongIsland home. The custom handmade draperies and Roman shades by @michele_fugazy are what bring every room together.

A space isn’t truly finished until the window treatments go in. They don’t just complete the design—they become the focal point.

Measured with precision. Installed with craftsmanship. @mp_installation #design #drapery #install

Soft window treatment installation is a dying trade.

This can’t be rushed or faked. It takes experience, patience, and pride to install custom drapery, roman shades, stretch panels and cafes the right way.

At MP Installations, we don’t chase shortcuts—we chase quality. Every job. Every time.

Keeping the trade alive, one installation at a time.

This photo didn’t make the feature, but it’s one of my favorites. Morning light on a few of my favorite finds: a vintage Fritz Hansen chair, a Maison Regain tiled coffee table, a woven grass floor lamp by @tennantive, and Citadel and Labyrinthine pillows from @threefatestextiles.

As we approach the one-year anniversary of moving into our home, I can’t imagine a more exciting way to celebrate than through a feature in @voguemagazine.

What makes it even more special is that I designed this apartment during the same period I was creating @threefatestextiles, and in many ways the two projects evolved alongside one another. Seeing them featured together feels incredibly meaningful.

Thanks to @nickliest for the beautiful words, @futongandfriends for knowing exactly the right home for this story, and my dream team @kirstenrfrancis and @francesfinds for making her look so good.

✨ Soft neutrals, layered textures, and a touch of color can completely transform the feeling of a space. ✨

To keep the palette from feeling flat, we introduced pops of seafoam green through carefully selected fabrics (for reupholstery of the chair and bench) and accents. The soft blue-green hues add a fresh, calming energy that complements the neutral foundation and creates a sophisticated sense of balance throughout the space.

The result is a bedroom that feels peaceful, layered, and effortlessly elegant—a place designed to relax, recharge, and unwind at the end of the day.

A sneak peek of a living room we are redesigning. A blush grasscloth and the most beautiful drapery have just been installed, and the space is starting to come to life. Grateful for the incredible team I work with who consistently deliver the highest quality craftsmanship. Looking forward to sharing the full reveal soon.

Soft light, gentle textures, and a palette that whispers instead of shouts 🤍 This space is all about calm—where every detail invites you to slow down and breathe a little deeper.

The rug grounds the room with its subtle pattern and muted tones, adding just enough visual interest while keeping the mood serene. Layered with plush, soft upholstery, the seating feels effortlessly cozy—perfect for quiet mornings or unwinding at the end of the day.

And the bed… dressed in soothing, airy bedding that feels as peaceful as it looks. Light, breathable, and beautifully simple, it creates a retreat you’ll never want to leave.

A reminder that tranquility lives in the details ✨

High-end window treatments deserve a high-end installation.

Drapery. Motorized woven wood shades. Every detail matters—and that’s where we come in.

At @mp_installation, we don’t rush jobs or cut corners. We take the time to get everything right: clean lines, precise leveling, smooth operation, and a finished product that looks as good as it functions.

We understand the products, the systems, and what it takes to execute at a high level—so you don’t have to worry about callbacks or headaches.

Clean. Detailed. Done right the first time.

If you’re a designer, dealer, or homeowner who expects quality, we’re the team you call. …

At the first meeting about her living room renovation, our Client wanted to replace the marble surround on the fireplace. Our reaction - “What? No! It’s beautiful”! We asked her to give us a chance to try to incorporate the stunning purple marble into the design. We knew with the selections we could make it not only work, but shine!

First, we found this amazing Anna French wallpaper with a similar rich purple color and then matched a gorgeous gray/green paint color to enhance the fireplace surround and trim.

Guess what she told us when the project was complete - she LOVES the marble now! It just needed the right accents to make it sparkle.
