The training "Journey of Labels" with @associazione_vagamondo in Bergolo, Italy definetly will be remarkable for me.

I learned how to get out of the box and how easily we create stereotypes and labels without notice. The journey of labels will never end, but there is an option of improuvement.

Great thanks to our facilitators Fabri, Luis and Valentina you made it very well.

Just wrapped up an incredible Erasmus+ training course, "Journey of Labels", in the charming village of Bergolo, Italy! 🇮🇹

Living and learning alongside such amazing people has been a truly enriching experience. Not only did we develop our own workshops to fight stereotypes, but also made a positive impact on the community of this lovely village.

Feeling grateful for the memories and the lessons learned. Hope life will bring us together one day!

"Rise Above Labels" had been more than an Erasmus+ funded project. Hidden in the rural areas of Romania I discovered a beautiful place packed with amazing people. I learnt a lot about stereotypes, biases and discrimination and in the process I learnt more about different cultures, their traditions and their customs.

As with many Erasmus+ projects, I learned a lot also about myself. I want to thank every single one of you for having been an amazing travelling partners during this experience. I'll take you all in my heart.
Thank you for reminding me about the best things in life.

See you soon.

Hey symbionts!

We just want to keep reminding you that we are having our annual meeting on March 31st 2021 at 17:00. In the annual meeting a new board will be elected and the old board will be discharged.

https://stockholmuniversity.zoom.us/j/69049300881

So why join symbios? We list just some few reasons below

Reasons to join Symbios:

1. It’s a great chance to get some experience with associations and all that it entails, hosting events, collaborating with other associations, get to know the administrative work that is done before a meeting and also get to know more people on campus. This might not sound very sexy but can give a good impression on your future employer ;)

2. Expand your network in the climate change movement, civil society and the academic world.

3. Once the corona situation is over you will be able to eat all the vegan fika you could ever want at our events!

Don't worry if you have not been very active in Symbios previously or have little to no experience of sitting in a board. As long as you are interested and have some time to spare you are more than welcome! Everyone can learn and the board that is sitting now will be there to help those of you elected.

In spotlight this week - Chairperson

Has an overview of the whole organisation. Reminds other members of their tasks and keeps contact with the student union and with Naturskyddsföreningen (Swedish Society for Nature Conservation), checks the mail regularly and does some administrative work before meetings.

Any questions? Feel free to email us or send us a message
