Creating our first blue mind space in Montauk together feels like a real privilege. From the moment I introduced the idea, people reached out saying ‘yes’ and ‘thank you for creating the space’ to come together for an early morning meditation and beach walk by the ocean. A gathering of souls who already understand the creative magic of the sea, but perhaps in the busyness of summer, forgot to avail themselves of it. All I did was open the circle.

Together, we each allowed the presence of the ocean to sooth, release and reclaim our sovereign selves. A tall statement but we shaped the space with this intention in mind and we called in remembrance of who we are when we are at our best. Together, we created a space in which to let go and heal through meditation, reflection and intention setting while being held by the sights and sounds of the sea as our witness. Simple. Genuine. No performance needed.

Thanks to all who came to participate in this delicious experience and, in the end, gave birth to something new. We will do this again to stay connected, remember, and soften in the support of our ocean and our community. Thank you for being adventurous enough (yes, adventurous!) to show up. Thank you for your spirit and sense of wonder. What a sweet morning it was. More to come. 🙏🏽💙🌊

And, a special shout out to @montaukoyster for offering to us the precious blue marbles gifted to him by ocean conservationist Tim Dykman who worked with @wallacejnichols to share the wisdom and science of ocean healing through blue mind. Aloha. 💙🌊 It takes a community to build something this special. 🙏🏽

Round One over and out. Another Montauk School Halloween Dance in the books! Big shout out to Leigh Ann and Denise and the entire PTA and student council for really giving the kids a core memory. I know I scared the boys because they kept trying to touch my pig face. Mission accomplished for another year! And the Werewolf and the nun killed it! #montauk #halloween #montaukhalloween
