Two years at YAGP, two different styles, two beautiful reminders of why I love to dance.

🥈 2nd Place — Classical
🥈 2nd Place — Contemporary

Beyond these placements, I’m taking home so much more than awards, the lessons, the growth, the courage to keep pushing, and the memories that will stay with me long after the stage lights fade.

Thank you, @yagp for believing in young dancers and giving us the opportunity to grow, challenge ourselves, and share our love for dance.

To all the wonderful teachers at @lisballetstudiola, thank you for every correction, every word of encouragement, and every moment you’ve helped me believe in myself a little more. So much of who I am as a dancer is shaped by your dedication and love.

And to @crystalhuangdance , thank you for creating such a beautiful contemporary piece, one that allowed me to feel, express, and tell a story through movement. It was truly a gift to dance your choreography.

Every achievement carries the love and support of so many people behind it. This journey has never been mine alone, and my heart is full of gratitude for everyone who has been a part of it.

Two years in, and still learning. Still growing. Still dreaming. Still in love with the art of dance.

With a grateful heart, always.

My 4th year at @yagp , and this season was extra special, my first time dancing en pointe and competing in the Junior division! I was filled with so much nervousness, excitement, and anticipation, and I’m beyond grateful for every moment of this journey. Looking back at how much I’ve grown through YAGP makes this experience even more meaningful.

I’m incredibly honored to have received 1st Place in Junior Classical and 3rd Place in Contemporary. These awards mean so much to me and are such a meaningful encouragement to keep working hard, keep growing, and keep pursuing my love for dance.

A heartfelt thank you to YAGP, Ms. Larissa, and Mr. Gennadi for your support, for giving me a stage to share my passion, and for creating opportunities for young dancers to grow and shine. I’m so grateful to be part of this journey. ❤️

Thank you to my studio, @lisballetstudiola and my wonderful teacher, Ms. Li, Ms. Sophy @zhao_sophy , for your endless support, encouragement, and belief in me. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without you. Thank you for always guiding me, pushing me to be better, and helping me grow.

A huge thank you to @chiakster_cycy and @bradyfarrar , for creating such beautiful pieces for me and helping me bring them to life on stage. I’m so grateful for your creativity, guidance, and trust!

Four years of learning, growing, challenging myself, and falling even more in love with dance. So thankful for this journey and everyone who has been a part of it. This is only the beginning!

With so much love and gratitude. ❤️

✨ Moments from Pièce d’Occasion at the YAGP 2026 New York City Gala ✨

YAGP was able to create such a special experience by bringing dancers from across the globe together to learn, rehearse, and perform side by side. 🌎✨

For these dancers, it was so much more than a performance. It was an opportunity to step into something new, work alongside dancers they may have never met before, build new friendships, share experiences, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Watching so many young artists from different countries and backgrounds come together through their shared love of dance was truly incredible. One stage, one experience, and so many unforgettable connections. 🤍

Choreographed by Natalia Bashkatova, Racheal Nye, and Gennadi Saveliev.

🗽FROM THE STUDIO TO LINCOLN CENTER | YAGP NEW YORK

One of the most special parts of the @yagp New York Gala happens long before the curtain rises at Lincoln Center.

Top winners of YAGP Regionals from around the world came together as Guest Artists, they spent the week learning and rehearsing a specially choreographed Pièce d’Occasion for the YAGP 2026 New York Galas.

What makes this experience so special is everything that happens inside the rehearsal studios.

Ms. Larissa moved constantly between studios and rehearsal rooms, watching the process unfold and connecting directly with teachers and students. Mr. Gennadi, Ms. Natalia, Ms. Rachael, Mr. Du, and the entire YAGP team were always present — guiding, encouraging, solving little things along the way, and making sure every young dancer was seen and supported.

Young dancers who had met on competition stages around the world suddenly became classmates, castmates, and friends — learning new choreography, adapting to one another, and creating something together.

And after days of rehearsing side by side, they stepped onto the stage of the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center together. 🌎✨

From competition stage, to rehearsal studio, to Lincoln Center — this is an experience that feels uniquely YAGP.

The performance may last only a few minutes, but everything that happens before the curtain rises is what makes the journey unforgettable. ❤️

@festivalballettheatre CRUISE 🛳️ with the STARS (Post 3)

One of the highlights of the International Summer Intensive was the sunset cruise with world-class ballet stars. ✨🛳️

It was such a special opportunity to meet and talk with dancers I have admired from afar and to hear about their experiences and journeys. I’ll always treasure the memories of being surrounded by so many inspiring dancers, friends, and teachers. ❤️

Thank you to all of the stars who inspire me to dream big. I hope that one day I can follow in your footsteps and have the opportunity to dance with a major ballet company. 🩰✨

Congratulations to the 2026 Royal Ballet School Scholarship Winners, from Act 1 Inspired Proteges, of the 17th Annual Gala of the Stars!

These dancers performed on the Segerstrom stage to culminate their 10-day participation in Southland Ballet Academy’s International Summer Intensive.

Artistic Director of the Royal Ballet School, Iain Mackay was an instructor during the intensive & graciously awarded these dancers scholarships & direct entrance to Royal Ballet School summer programs & short stays for the 2026-27 season.

We are thankful to be part of YAGP’s Affiliate Program, which helps facilitate these opportunities for young, aspiring dancers - the future stars of dance! ✨

Reflecting on a transformative journey at the @southlandballetacademy International Summer Intensive as we return home to Cairo.
This intensive was a profound learning experience. We were honored to train under an exceptional faculty—including Miss Larissa @yagp, Mr. Gennadi @gennadisaveliev, and Mr. Ian McKay —with special gratitude to Mr. Misha @mish.room, whom the girls worked with most closely. His rich technical insights and engaging classes were invaluable to their progress. Rounding out the experience was top-tier instruction in conditioning (Miss Marina) character (Mr. Vladimir), and contemporary (Miss Rachel, Mr. Miles, and Miss Renee).
Performing with @festivalballettheatre at the @segerstromarts and sharing the stage with such distinguished artists—including meeting the inspiring @marachok, was a highlight we will always cherish. Equally meaningful was the chance to form wonderful friendships with extraordinarily talented dancers from all across the globe.
A special thank you to Miss Salwa for her immense warmth and support throughout the program. Discussing the landscape of ballet in Egypt with her was truly special.
Grateful to @yagp and @southlandballetacademy for providing this platform. Above all, sincere gratitude to our teacher at home, Mr. Amir Ossama (@amiir_osama )—your mentorship is the foundation of everything we achieve.
