Salamat Pagi my friends, and strangers and whoever else may take the time in reading this. I’ve been prompted with an opportunity one that I feel is calling out to me and I to it.

With this potential opportunity means that I get to share my story of a new love of mine. A love I found in my travels late last year, not with a being but with yoga and movement.

I met incredibly magical people whilst I was away, many of those whom were the teachers of their practice who encouraged me to come to their classes. Little did I know that with my nerves for the first time trying something, I could never have imagined the internal and external shift that happened. How had I never done this before?

RE/CONNECTION - to my body.

I discovered connection within, something so beyond special for me. Never did I truly understand how much my body was holding. I opened up my body with movement and even more so my being. I have never felt so free within, it’s like I was a child walking for the first time, or tasting chocolate for the first time haha.

Since discovering this new love of mine, I’ve found my way to gift myself the gift of presence, to steer away from the monkey mind of mind that is constantly in go mode to be still in ones mind while feeling, connecting and releasing anything unnecessary within.

BALANCE.

Movement is art, I thought hair was going to be my art but as everything is always expanding I’ve come to realise that I too am expanding and my art will continue to flow and move from place to place.

This is why this excites me so, the spark is back. I have been ignited, I am expanding and growing. New paths to be followed, new things to be learnt, new ways to elevate my being.

Anyway thank you all for listening if you’ve made it this far, as much as this being part of my application for the #rayttscholarship it also I guess is a soft launch into my transitioning and combination of the art of hair to now with the addition of the art of movement and yoga.

Thank you for being here and following along my journey with me, it’s always a pleasure. 🫶

Bringing 2022 to a close I thought I'd show some appreciation to the many fantastic and amazing people I've met while travelling. You've all made my trip so special and I'm delighted our paths crossed! There are those of you I had an amazing time with but foolishly didn't take photos with, so when our paths cross again, let's fix that!
