POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

10 years ago, thanks to generous donations from the public and the hard work of a brilliant cast & crew, Songbird was made.

To celebrate that anniversary, we'll be releasing the full making-of documentary online for the first time. It'll go live on the Triskelle Pictures YouTube channel on 15th August - exactly 10 years to the day that cameras first rolled on Songbird.

[BTS footage in this preview reel was captured by Charlie Clarke, Janet Devlin, Forged Films, Steve Giller, Dave Mullany, Christopher Newman, and Demetri Yiallourou.]

OUTGROW - SHORT FILM - DIRECTING WORK

“When Miles meets Clara while visiting their fathers in hospital, the two strangers form an unexpected bond. As their relationship deepens, they find comfort in one another while confronting family hardship, illness and the uncertainty of growing up.”

Really happy to be sharing the first set of stills from ‘Outgrow.’ - Project now completed 🎉

A huge thank you to our incredible cast for their raw and deeply moving performances, and to the crew for making such a significant undertaking feel like a breeze. I couldn’t be prouder of what we created together.

February in a photo dump. It was SUCH a rainy month (the last photo in the carousel shows how damp things got!), but it was also very busy with work, screenings, and exciting meetings!

As well as celebrating mine & @harvey_retro's anniversary (see my last post), my February highlights included:

- Screening 'A Different Place' in my old hometown, followed by a Q&A, thanks to the wonderful @ritzbelper.
- A quick visit to Birmingham, where I met with my fellow @midlandsmovies Awards judges and recorded a few interviews.
- Joining a local writer's club to add an extra level of accountability to my script writing.
- Watching The BAFTAs at @tommyd_life's house, Wuthering Heights and other films in cinemas, and Train Dreams on Netflix at home - with Falkor sat on my lap, looking VERY engaged for most of it (see photo 10)!
- And little signs of the world opening up again, with nature stretching awake, in my garden and on local walks. I was very excited to see Dead Man's Fingers mushrooms in one of my tubs for the first time (photo 12)!

I am so happy that Spring is starting to come back now. Hopefully the last of the rainy days are behind us...

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to watch A Different Place ahead of Pillion (what a film!) at @ritzbelper last night. We're particularly grateful for such a fascinating, considered discussion with the audience during the Q&A afterwards - your questions were amazing!

Sharing our films on a big screen, with a room full of people responding so passionately, hearing them laugh at the jokes and gasp along with the actors' tears... that's the whole reason we do what we do. And after an incredible festival run, where A Different Place has screened around the world, being able to show it in the town that made us felt all the more special.

My beautiful new client put so much trust in me to be creative and match her personality with this colour. She loves bold but natural and something 'a little different'
I love how this came together.
