SAFE
My memory of feeling safe
Is locked away in your arms
Held tight with ropes and talismans
Bound by younger selves

I inhale old photos like a last breath filled with longing and
Question why you left me
To walk through abandoned thoughts
Vacant lots and feelings bereft
Of time and place

Your jacket no longer
Shields me from
Weather, loneliness, danger
Bad music or myself

I look through boxes to find the sacred armor
We shared like
Food, shelter, lust
And memories of feeling safe

Because my memory of feeling safe is locked away in your arms

The term “Punk Floyd” was coined today at #AudioConfidential @audioconfidential by these two uber-enthusiastic vintage-rockers: Luis Accorsi @titolembi of #ToxicTito @toxictitonyc and his light-footed guitar player and producer James Cooper.
They came out with the funky word combination to describe the blend of psychedelia and punk/rock that the new Toxic Tito album brings to the world...
We finished mixing it today using the Neve Genesys Blue @amsneveltd analog console with digital recall and automation (as you can see from the faders dancing around) and it’s sounding pretty kick ass as you can see and hear in this video!

Thank you Bob Krasner for this great article and amazing photos. I’m truly grateful to be living my dream of creating solo music and growing as a live performer and for all the amazingly beautiful creative creatures in this universe. We inspire each other and that is such a gift. Much love to Jaime Pina who couldn’t be with us on guitar at Berlin and to Michelle Pedone & Clio Bildman for being on this bad ass trip. I love you all!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support for my film projections for Salon Lulu. An instant hit! I poured my heart and soul into them the last couple weeks. Thanks to Dylan Hundley for hosting the night and giving me a creative jolt, and a million thanks to my silent stars Laura Holden, Laura DeRubeis-Byrne, Alexandra Blair, Kristin Flammio and Pat Salway. The bands were amazing: Calamity Glamour, Darling Black, and Liz Lamere killed it! Hit me up if you want projections for your show, too!
