LIYFF is proud to present Where the Tide Whispers directed by Michelle Mullin as part of this year’s official selection lineup!

A young boy is forced to leave his home and everything he knows behind after a natural disaster destroys his island. After boarding the ship with his mother he sleepwalks off of the boat and wakes up in a coral reef filled with vibrant fish. Through this experience he realizes that “home” will always be with him and can be found anywhere that love is.

Michelle Mullin is a 2D animator, illustrator and multimedia artist based in New York. She is a recent graduate of School of Visual Arts and hopes to keep pursuing her love for the artform with personal projects and work. Alongside animation she is a lover of fashion, reading and cats.

Catch this film on Sunday, Nov 9th at the Cinema Arts Centre as part of the Narrative Short Films Block 4.
