The Kretschmers, growing from 3 to 4.

I adore this family so much.

Every time I get a message from them about doing another shoot, I get so excited I can barely keep it in. There’s something so special about being invited back every year to document their family story.

Something I never knew before having a newborn, they arrive wrapped in the softest little coat of tiny hairs, a delicate fuzz that quietly disappears within weeks. To me, it’s the sweetest thing… a fleeting detail, just like those tiny feet, tiny hands and tiny bodies that outgrow their newborn outfits almost overnight.

In what feels like a blink, you’ll be folding away newborn clothes, swapping tiny socks for bigger ones, witnessing one change after another. It’s the most tender reminder that these moments, these little fluffs and little details are here for just a heartbeat. And oh, how precious that heartbeat is.

Is it just me, or is there love in the air?

Even the oxygen molecules seem to be forming heart shapes!

Siblings

Having a sibling is like having a built-in bestie - a partner in crime for sharing secrets and unleashing the silliness. It's an unbreakable bond that brings immense joy. As a fellow sibling, I cherish the comfort of unconditional love, the instant venting hotline, and the go-to person for sharing life's highs and lows.

Show that sibling of yours that you love them and tag them below!

Throwing it back to last year's spring mini session with the adorable De Bruyn family!

It's pure joy seeing these tiny humans blossom right before my lens every year. Their personalities are like blooming flowers, each session revealing more charm and character. Time may fly, but these memories are forever.

- Swipe left to witness the magic!

I've been a bit MIA lately, but between nappy changes, pumping marathons, feeding frenzies, and sleepless nights, I've barely had time to do anything else. 😅

Consider this a mini appreciation post and a gender reveal, as I realize I haven't officially spilled the beans about our baby's gender. Well, the green top in my pics should give it away. Drumroll, please! We welcomed our adorable baby boy on November 16th, and let me tell you, my heart is bursting with joy, but I also commend every mommy out there, especially those with twins or more.

Now, let's get real. This journey isn't all sunshine and rainbows; it's more like a messy, sleep-deprived rollercoaster. Contrary to Instagram's illusion of glamour, this mom life is hard work. You think you're prepared, but the reality hits you like a ton of baby wipes. It's not a one-size-fits-all situation; you're basically decoding a new human and mastering a whole new set of skills.

So to all the moms out there - you're doing great!! And to those about to join the mom club, cut yourself some slack. This adventure is wild, and guess what? The dirty laundry and house chores can absolutely wait! 💪👶🍼

A while back, I had the immense privilege of capturing a beautiful graduation for an absolutely kind soul and some shots of these two lovebirds who redefine cuteness levels. From dodging champagne showers to racing between photo spots, we had an absolute blast!

Alethea, thanks for letting me be your personal paparazzi on this monumental day. Your smile was as bright as the future ahead!

Stay tuned for more fabulous shots from this unforgettable session.

Let's take a moment to truly appreciate this exquisite mother.✨

Just a few weeks ago, I had the immense privilege of capturing some deeply heartfelt moments within the Viviers family. With the impending addition of a new and beautiful baby girl, their family bond grows even stronger. Our conversation was filled with warmth and laughter, an experience so enchanting that time seemed to slip away unnoticed.

I am on the edge of my seat to unveil more from this gorgeous maternity session.

To the Viviers family, your trust in me to preserve your memories is genuinely appreciated. I observed nothing but profound affection and unwavering patience in you as parents. Baby Mi-Hanzé is undoubtedly fortunate to be enveloped in the love you so generously bestow upon your children.

Weekend vibes are here, and my schedule is brimming with exciting sessions! 📸

If you've noticed I've been a bit MIA this week, it's all because I've been deep in the world of editing, scheduling shoots, and giving some serious attention to the business side of my photography business. From revamping my website to planning a special surprise for September (stay tuned on my Ig story for the big reveal), it's been a whirlwind of creativity and hustle.

I can't wait to share all that I've been up to!!

As a family and newborn photographer, I've learned that newborns possess a secret Time Warp Mode - they accelerate through growth stages like turbocharged little beings, leaving us wondering if they've been trading secrets with time travelers.

Handling even one of these tiny time-travelers can feel like juggling fire-breathing marshmallows, and let's not even start calculating the acrobatics required for managing two or more! P.S well done to all the twin, quadruple etc mom's out there! Amidst this wonderfully chaotic carnival, there's a precious truth: these moments are as fleeting as a shooting comet.

If you're on the fence about turning these adorable whirlwinds into immortalized memories through newborn photos, consider my advice: seize the moment! One day, while flipping through those snapshots, you'll thank your sleep-deprived, slightly loopy self for capturing these pint-sized details and moments.

After all, they don't retain their adorable squishiness forever - as much as we might secretly hope they would!
