Can’t get rid of these Bad Habits 🌊

Another incredible weekend in Whitby with our October Bad Habits Adventurers!

We won’t give too much of the story away, but let’s just say plenty of seagull slander has been happening in the discord…

We’ll be getting another Bad Habits date in the diary for 2027, but if you can’t wait until then why not check out our Gothic Fenland Adventure Elvers & Betters happening this spring!

Our show touches on the experience of having a premature baby in the NICU, something very close to the team. This song offers a glimpse of that experience. Performed by @michellicopter 🎹 @robin_reeds_dragking

August: the month of transformation, transition & stepping into a better life. 🥁✨

What an incredible month. Big milestones, little memories and so many moments that made me think… wow, life really does change.

August in 20 photos:

1. 🥁 Me, my djembe & a little look how far we’ve come moment.
2. 🫶🏽 My old support worker congratulating me on my new business. Two years ago she was supporting me through floods of tears just trying to leave the house alone. Life is wild.
3. 🧶 Mum & Dad at Mum’s stall as she launched her handmade crochet business.
4. 🥁 @momentswitinrhythm launch day — somehow Mum and I launched our businesses on the same day!
5. 📍 Seeing MWR officially on the programme.
6. 💜 My little sister showing up to support both Mum and me.
7. 🍴 A rare little lunch date with my cousin Jazzy.
8. 👕 The new Moments Within Rhythm uniform.
9. 🌳 Picnic in the Park workshop setup.
10. 🍻 Mum, Dad & me — some moments deserve a cheers.
11. 🍺 Dad living his best pint-and-menu life. 😂
12. 🤎 Me & Mum after a VERY long workshop day.
13. 🫶🏽 My old support worker showing up again at Picnic in the Park.
14. 🥁 Getting into the rhythm with the little ones.
15. 🍜 Current obsession: pho. No deeper meaning. Just delicious. 😂
16. 🎭 Version two of Secret Sides of Us — an incredible R&D week, hearing the show again and shaping what comes next.
17. 🫏 A random but very cute Portland College donkey.
18. 🎭 The Secret Sides of Us team & our brilliant R&D actors. Missing Samantha and Jessica
19. 💄 A proper Meadowhall day with my sister — something we don’t get to do often, making it even more special.
20. ❤️ Telling Grandad about my new business. There’s a whole video and it’s ridiculously cute… I’m just not ready to share that one yet.

August wasn’t just busy. It felt like a shift.

New businesses. New opportunities. Family. Creativity. Music. Independence. Old support becoming new celebration. Little glimpses of the life I’ve been working towards.

Thank you, August. You were a big one. 🤎🥁✨

Plus the zine that I got with it is adorable and gave me a nudge to get more plants in my house. 🌱🪴

BTS for Fair Game🃏 There’s just too many photos and videos to pick from but here’s a few, thank you to the amazing crew and actors who made it possible. As well as a sneak peek of the BTS interviews at the end :)
